List of file formats that can be translated by the file translator

GT4T file translator supports the following file formats, and the way to use them all is to select the files and drag and drop them onto the GT4T file translator interface.

  • Microsoft Office: docx, docm, doc, rtf, pptx, ppt, pptm, xlsx, xls, xlsm
  • Hancom Office: hwpx, cell, show
  • SDL Trados Studio bilingual file: sdlxliff
  • MemoQ bilingual file: mqxliff, mqxlz
  • Wordfast Pro bilingual file: txlf, txml
  • Smartcat XLIFF: xliff
  • Wordbee/XTM/CafeTran bilingual file: xlf
  • Memsource bilingual file: mxliff
  • Idiom WorldServer/Translation Workspace XLIFF: xlz
  • Déjà Vu X3 project file: dvprj, dvsat
  • Subtitle/caption: srt, vtt, ass, ssa
  • PDF document: pdf
  • Plain text: txt
  • HTML based files: htm, html, php
  • Markdown/reStructuredText/AsciiDoc: md, markdown, rst, mdx, adoc, asciidoc, mkd, mdwn, markdn, mdtext
  • Portable object file (.po): po, pot
  • Data XML: xml

There are 71 extensions in total.

** Note ** PDF and image files need to upload the server to convert, other files do not need to upload, file parsing and generation are on your own computer, safer, more reliable, more stable, faster.
